Tom Dinkel started Gremlin Fishing in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1999.  The original intent was to keep him busy and supplement his retirement.  He had been fly fishing since the middle 1940s.  Selling fly fishing equipment over the internet to beginner and intermediate fly fishers at reasonable prices seemed like a natural fit.  Over 18,000 sales later, what started as a near hobby, is now a full blown fly fishing internet sales company. 

In 2006 they took the step into producing their own line of fly rods.  The success of that move and the following of thousands of great customers has convinced Gremlin Fishing to continue by adding additional signature items.  The future promises products such as Gremlin Fishing fly reels, more fly rod models, a moderately priced line of fly lines as well as other accessory items.  In 2005, they entered the international market.  To date, they have sold and shipped into nearly every country in the world.  Family members have joined the company assuring that the products and service they have become known for will continue far into the future.
