Fly Girl Rods are designed from reel seat to tip, specifically for the female fly caster without sacrificing one aspect of quality or performance. The highest quality graphite is used to reduce weight, add strength and improve performance. Taper and flex are custom fit and handles are custom designed to fit a woman's hand.

Hand selected, Birdseye maple reel seat are finished with a nickel/silver up-lock system. The same "Flower Grade" Portuguese cork is selected for size and shape of the handle to better fit a woman's hand; giving her more control of the rod in order to reduce fatigue associated with a handle that is too large. Power Cone Technology adds strength and power to the butt section of the rod allowing higher line speeds, greater casting performance and improved fish fighting ability. Each section flows to the next with internal ferrules that allow for a continuous taper from the butt section all the way to the tip eliminating dead spots, creating a perfect power curve and enhancing performance. To make assembly easier and quicker, small alighment dots are used for positioning. There are no long and heavy rod tubes here. Each Wright and McGill Fly Girl rod comes in four perfectly balanced sections and includes a beautiful and durable travel case.
